RiverLand Homes, Inc. was founded in year 2000 by Martin Edwards, a long time resident of Richmond Virginia.  Like many skilled craftsmen, Martin’s construction experience started at an early age, even before his High School years.  Martin is a Graduate of East Tennessee State University and holds a degree in Business Finance. He contributes much of his professional success to hard work, dedication, and the endless support of his lovely wife, Jennifer, and three sons, Ethan, Zachary, and Braxton.

Understanding public perception is important to our future success.  It helps to further advance our products, our services, and ultimately our company. Sure, we welcome compliments, however, progression comes from embracing our opportunities.

RiverLand Homes, Inc. is a Specialty Home Builder. We emphasize Specialty because we opt to build fewer homes of
higher quality. We don’t have the desire to be a huge, mass production builder. We enjoy the ‘hands on’ approach to building. Specialty, also, is how we deal with our customers. We understand that we are building the home for YOU, and YOU want it a certain way. We welcome customer input and promote open communication. In addition, Specialty refers to how we like to build houses. We enjoy the creative side of building. We embrace new ideas, products, and designs. As a result, we have yet to build any two houses exactly the same.
